'Our mission is to enhance the educational experience of students, especially those with learning and behaviour difficulties, by supporting schools in understanding, owning and meeting individual needs with a collaborative approach assisted by a web-based system'
Are you involved with SEN, AEN and/or Inclusion?
Are some of the students in your secondary school struggling to engage educationally due to learning and/or behaviour issues?
Do you want to improve communication, participation and consistency in addressing this issue?
As a Senco/Head of Inclusion, do you want to give all teachers the support to be able to understand, own and meet the individual needs of their students in a time efficient manner?
If yes, the Includer Approach is just what you need
What is the Includer Approach?
Includer is a collaborative approach designed to increase whole school understanding of your students’ individual needs. It is particularly useful for those with special and additional educational needs (SEN/AEN), thereby improving learning and behaviour. It is supported by a web-based system which creates individualised learning and/or behaviour plans. From these, a simplified ‘Action Plan’ is produced which can be used when lesson planning and teaching.
The Includer Approach is for the development of your whole school and consists of:
- training for all staff
- project management
- a ‘web-based’ system which can be used as part of a learning platform
- integration with your management information system (to reduce workload and data repetition)
- ongoing support and updates
